Insurance Companies use a Loss Adjuster when a claim is over a set amount, and in the event of where:-
• Flooding/Fire has taken place
• Damage has made the premises uninhabitable
• The property is a Listed Building

Prior to the Loss Adjuster making their first initial assessment you should try to gather up all the information you have in regards to the claim, for example:-

• Photographs of items (prior to damage/destruction)
• Receipts
• Valuation Reports
• Medical Evidence (Report from a Doctor/Specialist)
• Bank/Credit Card Statements detailing purchases

First and foremost, we assess whether any immediate safety measures/precautions require to be put in place, to mitigate any further loss.

1. Visit the premises/site and assess the full damage
2. Document all details written and photographic evidence, where possible
3. Recommend repairs

We then return to the office and advise the Insurance Company and Policyholder on the most appropriate way regarding any repairs and produce a Report in this instance. The Loss Adjuster will then write to you, and advise a written plan of action, which will outline the next steps of the process.

Paladin Adjusting Solutions Ltd will produce an in-depth report on your behalf with details of the claim and produce it to the Insurance Company.

No, certainly not. The level of charges are solely based on the amount received, not the amount ‘saved’.

Following the Loss Adjuster’s Report, payment will then be released accordingly.
